Build it and They Will Come - learn how to personalize learning for all children, regardless of social or economic status, anywhere in the world and at any time. See how to design an interactive, engaging, digitally rich, global curriculum continuum using Open Education Resources (OER) in an educational environment that allows students opportunities to learn about and work with each other. See how educators from all over the world are collaborating to make this happen. This workshop 1) explores and defines what "personalized learning" looks like, what hinders and what promotes personalized learning; 2) shows how Open Education Resources are found and how they can be used in the classroom to meet the needs of all students; 3) demonstrates how current technology allows students opportunities to learn and work in a collaborative global environment; and use Glogster and OER to develop a lesson. For more information about using OER to meet the needs of the 21st Century Learner and using Glogster to make your curriculum interactive, check out: or
